The love is gone.

Zofran, my friend, we need to talk. I take you because you promise to stop the nausea and vomiting. And you did, for like 2 days. What the heck?!?!?!?!? I can't live like this but it seems you aren't interested in helping me anymore. What happened? Was it something I said? I take whatever it is back. I'm sorry if I offended you. Please, PLEASE, pick up your end of the bargain again... ~Me and my stomach.

L.O.V.E.

I am in love with Zofran. It's my new best friend. As are the nurse at the call center and the doctor that keeps refilling it. I'm really REALLY sick without it. But that's a good thing. Yeah. Okay universe, still just throwing things out there but a heartbeat would just rock my world... Ya know. Early Christmas and all.

Okay.

If I can just make it through the next few weeks without completely losing my mind, that would be awesome. Just throwing that out there universe. Cause, you know, it would totally be okay with me. Ya know. Like an early Christmas present. Sort of.

Thanksgiving

Today I am thankful for many things. Family, friends, our home, my job, our family's health, Jeff's residency, and so much more. We are truly a blessed family.

Revenge of the bacon

Mommy has the swine flu. Sweetheart, don't do that, mommy's sick and can't chase you right now because she cheesed off the pork. Yes, baby, mommy is sick. Yes, angel, Dr. Daddy helps sick people get better. No, light of my life, not mommy. Mommy isn't sick in a way anyone else can fix. Mommy just has to get over it. And drink lots of orange juice. Yes, goofball, you can have some of mommy's magical problem fixing orange juice because odds are you're going to catch this rotten bug too. It's because we share every bug. We share because sharing makes other people happy. That's right except when it's a bug like this. That's why we are home today (and probably tomorrow too). No, we are not going to play Daddy's video games. No, we are not going to watch It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown for the 837th time this week. Yes, we can watch Spongebob. No, sweetie, this isn't going to kill mommy (I think). Yes, you are going to take a nap so I can take a nap. I need to take my temp now. Yes, I can take yours too.
